I am sooo happy right now. Renke is here. Yes, here.... as is here in the United States visiting me. Although I have had to get used to a couple of things, I am so happy that everytime I walk into my room he is there. I am a bit concern though that he might be dying of boredom, but it is so difficult for me to get off campus and do stuff with him because 1.) the campus is a world of its own, 2.) I have a midterm tomorrow, 3.) I do not have a car, and 4.) the public transportation system sucks. Hopefully, after this week I will have some extra time so Renke and I can go about and hit town.
Well, so far everyone has been really nice and very welcoming of Renke. Everyone was just as excited as me before he arrived and even after. It was quite funny, because the night that he arrived we walked in through the front of the house and into improv auditions. Everyone just stopped what they were doing gasped and then there was somewhat of an awkward silence, followed by Nick running up to Renke saying hello and giving him a big hug. I think Renke was a little freaked out after that. But after that, I think he is slowly been growing accustomed to all of my friends' weirdness. lol
