Yeah, well the whole daily posting is not working so great at the moment, and I don't think it ever will...hehehe
I discovered yesterday that American brownies are a whole lot sweeter and softer than German brownies. While American brownies might be soft and sweet, German brownies are sturdy and reliable. Yes reliable, because you can dunk them into a nice cold glass of milk and they wont fall apart and they will taste just as good. And although German brownies might be different, I don't think it will be a difficult change to adapt to...
I doubt I am still talking about brownies...
A couple of us got together and had an afternoon coffee and cake session if you may call it. It was sooo good, and of course like previously stated, I baked brownies. After some laughing, two glasses of champagne, and a lot of cake, I found myself talking to two other girls about my future plans and I came to the conclusion that I don't have any true sturdy plans for the future. But its ok.
Franzie, Ping (Alex), her boyfriend, and Karl, her younger brother, were heading to an American football game afterwards and asked Renke and I if we would like to come along. American Football in Germany.....Of course I would LOVE to go and see the whole shee-bang!!! We took the tram on the way to the game. BTW, Germany is really anal about "black riders" meaning people who don't pay for public transportation. Once again I found myself riding Germany's public transportation 'illegally', and yes, there was an officer checking for tickets. I was sweating in my boots. I don't know how or who but something distracted the officer from checking for my ticket. GOTT SEI DANK (Thank God)!!!!!!!!! When we arrived at the stadium I was surprised at the number of people there. It was crazy. There were people fully dressed out like the crazy fans they were. The game was fine. I felt great because I was explaining to Franzie and her brother the workings of American football. Finally, so many Friday night high school football games paid off....hehehehe. Before the game, Franzie and I had some champagne along with Bratwurst. Ha, her and I represented the true epitome of classiness. I must say, American football games should change to selling Bratwurst instead of small measly hotdogs.... And sell some yummy champagne, too.
The home team, the Braunschweig Lions, won 52:7. Yeah, it was quite a kick in the ass. After the game we stood close to the track to congratulate the players. Mostly all came over to say hello. But I have to say the highlight of the game was when I gave a high five to one of the players and then he turned back around and said, "Hey...." (trying to start something), but then the adorable Renke held me and said, "Hey, sie ist mein!" ( I don't think I have to translate that; it's pretty much self-explanatory). *sigh* My tall, bright, and shining prince.....hehehe It's nice to know that you still interest your boyfriend in that way. =)
