Last night on Conan O'Brien, he said:
"The average World Cup fan is drinking about 17 pints of beer per day.... and that's probably because after so much drinking they could finally understand the game better and enjoy it. Seriously, how does one expect me to keep my attention on something that is so insipid as a score 1-0. And then all those cards, I mean come on... they have a yellow card, red card, and pretty soon, everyone will be requesting a green card...."
Ok, so maybe it wasn't that funny, but I was really intrigued with what he said about the beer drinking bit. So I looked it up and in fact I did come up with many results, but the one I seemed to find the most entertaining, is one that blaims the British fan base for making Germany run dry.

Well, I just finished watching the Germany vs. Argentina game; I am holding my reservations on comments. But moving on, at least I am happy that the World Cup is promoting some type of world peace scenario..... oh wait, no that's incorrect, when you see two powerful teams starting to beat each other at the end of a game, that is not promoting peaceful resolutions. But at lest we can count on the fact the World Cup promotes drinking socially as opposed to privately, which we all know that's alcoholism... and nobody wants that .... hehehehe
*disclosure: please, don't take this the wrong way
